When we found out that we were expecting, I could hardly wait to start decorating a nursery for our sweet babe! As a newborn and maternity photographer, I see so many gorgeous nurseries, so I had a lot of ideas swimming around in my head!

One of my favorite locations for an outdoor session is Pleasant Hill Preserve in Scarborough. Pleasant Hill Preserve on Pleasant Hill Road is a rare open space in one of Scarborough’s largest neighborhoods.

When I’m planning a session with my clients, it’s always a collaboration on where to shoot. Originally, we had intended to photograph a “golden hour” family session at Ferry Beach. Because it was such a beautiful summer night, the beach was packed. We ended up at this location down the road from Mom’s parent’s house!

I am so excited to finally share this rebrand I have been working hard on behind the scenes with Megan Lambert! As many of you already know I also got married last year, and the time has come to change the name of my business to reflect my married last name, so Mariah Cropley Photography is officially Mariah Clemons

There are so many things I love about this session. We started early in the morning and left the kids in their PJS. Cause who doesn't love kiddos in their pajamas?! It also gave me the opportunity to capture their morning routine. I’ve said it time and time again and will keep saying it, real and raw make the best photos.

Form the moment I walk into a session with a pup in the family they know I am a dog person and they are going to get all the love from me and that is 100% true!
